Alex & Jessie

Alex and Jessie had the most beautiful traditional wedding at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Webster Groves. After the ceremony the newly wed couple and their entourage travelled to the very place where our bride and groom first met, Urseline Academy. Arriving at The Barnett on Washington for their reception, the two were ready to celebrate with dinner and dancing amongst their very special family and friends. THE DAY |

Alex & Jessie's wedding was beyond perfection. It was bliss, it was happiness, and it was filled with so many special little details - everything had a meaning or a memory tied to it! It made your heart full to watch them say, "I do" in the beautiful stained glass church. Our jaws dropped upon entering; absolutely gorgeous and the colors of the stained glass matched her wedding perfectly - from the flowers in the bouquets & boutonnieres to the bridesmaids dresses. They greeted every guest leaving the ceremony to show their sincere appreciation.

Our favorite part of any wedding day is when we get the bride and groom all to ourselves during their portraits after our fun with the wedding party. Jessie and Alex made this so easy, as all they had to do was focus on their love for one another; they are truly each other's one and only.

Their reception venue, The Barnett, was beyond beautiful and decorated truly for a prince & his princess. All we could think of was Beauty and the Beast with their red carpet spiral staircase, they made their grand entrance down. Every table had an ornate decorative "Disney" themed lantern and floral centerpiece that captivated our Disney loving hearts. Yes, we are still obsessing over these. Their first dance stole the show, as they danced, like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, to "Put on a Happy Face." You may think that sounds like an interesting choice for a newlywed couple's first dance; however, it is the very song that they sang and danced together in the production of Bye Bye Birdie at Urseline Academy when they first met during the production. (Cue all the "awes.") How sweet can this couple be? They danced the night away more than any couple or family I have seen. And, ended the celebratory filled evening with a big bang Star Wars send off that gave way to wedding party fighting in a lightsaber duel - groomsman versus bridesmaid. It was absolutely the most incredible wedding! We felt truly blessed to be a part of this wedding, and truly hope the best all the best for our beautiful bride and groom! Congratulations Alex & Jessie! XOXO, Katie
